When does my download limit reset?

Your download limit is based on a rolling 24 hour period, which begins the first time you begin downloading.

For example, let’s say you start downloading files at 8am on Monday, and you haven’t downloaded anything previously. We will then start tracking your downloads from 8am, and for the next 24 hours you can keep downloading until you have used up your limit.

Your download usage will then be reset at 8am on Tuesday, and you have your full download allowance back again.

Now let’s say that you start downloading another file at midday on Tuesday. We will start tracking your downloads from midday Tuesday. So at midday Wednesday, your download usage will be reset again.

We do this because it is a more fair system compared to resetting your limit at the same time every day.
